I am 5'8. What should I weigh? Is there some sort of average or agreed upon healthy weight for that height?

Jeff lacy the IBF supper middleweight boxing champ is 5'9 168 ripped, and looks like he could bench a house.

Weight is only part of the picture and it is not a really good indicator of health. You can fall into the 'suggested' weight range and have a high BF% and be horribly unhealthy... Or you can be an athlete, have a low BF% and be above the healthy weight range but be considered 'overweight'.

Instead, stay above the lowest recommended weight (as below this it IS known to be dangerous) and then aim on improving your muscle mass and decreasing your BF%.

So, at 5'8 there is a minimum suggestion of 130 pounds for 5'8... Which is horribly skinny (and probably better for females to be a minimum suggestion... guys should be 140 pounds). I would think something around 160-170 pounds with a BF% of ~10-12% would be a good target.

Well I am at 160 now, and I'm cutting. But so far, my cutting actually made me gain 2 pounds, but lose some BF%!
