Hi there, a bit late in actually introducing myself, I'm a little computer lazy. But I've been checking out the forum everynow and then.
I've been working out off and on for a while now.
First started actively exercising back in early 2000 where for 3 years I just did lots of running, hiking and body resistance exercises, circuit training etc. (3 or 4 times a week).
Towards the end of 2003 I joined a hardcore gyn rat hangout (and got seriously hooked on free weights) for 6 months and did little or no CV to try and bulk up.
Then in 2004 a mate persuaded me to join him in learning Kung Fu and chinese kickboxing which I did but I neglected lifting and as such became leaner and weaker!! Unfortunatley the instructer was against resistance training, and I was too busy to do both. Looking back the instructor was just ignorant.
Then started back up (lifting) in 2006 for about 9 months before travelling and things really went out the window.
Now after returning from travelling and settling back down I have started again!... (lifting 3rd time lucky) in Early June 2009 and just completed my first 6 months of free weights training so decided to reward myself by actually commiting too lifting for good.....and too the site!
So there we are, I consider myself moderately expereinced in training but my nutrition although I have the basics (protein, multivitermins and minerals, B vitamens and cod liver oil) but could improve in that area.
I'm 6ft 1 and weight 206lbs, In June 2009 I started at 185lbs. Back in 2000 I was a 170lb weakling but could run like a muthaf**ker.
Anyway nice to meet you all hope to get and give some good advice.
