My names Ernest. I am 6'4" 329 pounds. I started a pre-surgical diet on april 14th weighing 410, and had Gastric Bypass RNY surgery on April 28th. So I have lost over 80 pounds in less than a month.
I have been a powerlifter, Superheavyweight MMA'er for the last ten years. I got the surgery because the obvious limits of my lifespan and a giant man. I want to be around for my kids and wife. I also did it to fight as a HW. I have a very hard time finding fights at SHW. Finally I was tired of having a ton of muscle and having it all covered up with a nice protective layer of fat.
I came here to get some advice. I have lost a TON of muscle and fat, and I have another 80 pounds to lose to get back to my healthy weight of 250ish.
In 4 more weeks I get to start lifting again, and I know if I don't get on a different plan my old ways will fail.
It was always heavier, heavier, heavier. I cannot get enough calories to lift like that anymore, at least not for a year or so. Besides, I don't want to be enormous anymore. I want to be shredded at 250. Which I know is a lot of weight to many of you, but I am pretty tall, and VERY wide, even when I was thin.
So any advice is welcome.
Thanks.
