HELP! avi. files to mp3??

does anyone know how to rip the audio of off avi. files into mp3 format?? I have some video seminars that I would like to listen to on my commute, but I need them in mp3 format!!

I'm sure there is a program that will do it for you. Probably Goldwave. If nothing else, you can simply run the AVI and use the windows recorder to capture the sound (I think).

thanks, I got FairStars Audio Converter v1.46. it does all formats except avi. typical! I'll check out goldwave, thanks

Goldwave is a great product. It's not flashy, but it's easy to use and full featured.

OMG its so easy to use, all I did was drag and drop the file, selected the format I wanted then saved it to the folder I wanted!!
