I Have Always Been A Natural Muscle Until Two Years Ago. Size 6/7. Large Muscles On Calves, Thighs, Buttocks. Arms And Back. My Father Was 5"2'.size 13 Ring. Large Torso And Arms. I Was The Big Kid @5"3' @116lbs. Concerned Him. This Was By The End Of 6th Grade People Would Ask Me If I Was In Track Or Any Other Sport. No My Father Just Expected Me To Be A Girl And Do A Mans Job. I Have 21 In. Calves Naturally. @ My Peek I Was Size6/7, 122lbs,no Fat. People Thought Iwas Anorexic Untill They Saw Me On Scales.two Years Ago I Was 136lbs And Wore A Size 7. Waist Would Bag By 2in, But Thighs And Calves Were Great Muscles. Could Wear A Small Shirt Except My Arms And Shoulders.in Two Months I Aquired 20lbs. No Diet Change. No Activity Change.boom. Had Mono . Thougt It Was Spleen, Liver,?had Tests Run @ Er For These. Including Hep., All Forms. They Saw It Thought It Was Spleen,liver. Gave Me Iv Meds .could Even See Where Stomach Protruded Above Bellybutton And Pushing Past Ribs. They Were Confused With Test Results. 2 Months Later I Was Up To165lbs. I Was Miserable. Any Weight I Had Was Never Above My Hips Pther Than Preg. Saw Dr. His Nurse Said Heliobacterpylori. Ran Test. Dr Thought I Just Needed Stomach Crunches. I Did Had This Digestive Disorder. He Backed Down. Went On Previpak. 3000mg Antibio. A Day For 14 Days. Skin Looked Great But I Have Never Been The Same. Some People Said I Was Over Eating. Explained My Diet That Had Worked For Me Since 1978.no Mayo,no Chips,verrry Limited Sweats(i Would Rather Eat A Samwich Than Sweats, Useable Cal),verrry Limited Salt(if It Did Not Taste Good W/o Salt,dont Eat It Or Bear It. Verry Limited Fried Foods(dont Like Fries,no Onionrings,fried Chick,seafood,ect Maybe 2x A Years), Always Examine Food Per Serv. Size,cal.,fat.drink Water All Day. Drink Water With All Meals Even If Cocktails Before Meal. Try To Drink 2-3 Glasses Of Water Before And During Meal For Fullness And A More Natual Digestion Of Food From Stomach To Small Intestine,to Flushing Out Toxins. People Went From Saying I Was Over Eating,eating Trash, To You Are Not Eating Enough. Obviously People Do Not Have A Grasp Of How I Have Always Momitoered What I Ate. They Are Judging Me By Ther Diet Choices Or Someone Elses.i Feel This I A Combination Of Mebtabolism, And Posible Hormones. No One Will Listen. Yes I Have Curtailed My Activities,not Worn Shorts Or Tank Tops For 3 Summers. My Muscles Are Just As Tight And Firm Under This Giggly, Cellulitis, Water Like Fat. People Twice My Size Have Firmer And "nicer" Looking Fat Than Me. I Know It Is Not Me,but I Have Let The Shame Of What I Feel Other People Think I Am Doing Go. I Now Weigh What Idid When I Gave Birth To My Children. People Thought I Had Just Gotten Heavy Not Preg. I Know One Of You All Can Set Me On The Right Track. Evan Dr 2 (where I Work Is Not Any Help. He Was A Weight Lifter Trying For The Olyp. In His Teens. He Broke A Weight Lifting Record When He Was 16yrs.saw The Article.) I Know What Is Happening. I read this entirly FYI. I sympathize your situation, but all that I can advise is stick to a healthy diet and welll rounded training. It sounds as though you were in the right line before, so you certainly know how to take the proper approach to get your body back. :)
 
Have you had your thyroid checked? I went from 110 to 140 ( at 5 feet tall) in 2 months time. I was traing 4 hours a day 5 days a week for collegiate gymnastics when this happened...I am now down to 106, but not without a having undergone RAI therapy and hormone replacement since...Talk to you Dr. abou tgetting tested..The distended stomach is a common side effect because your body retains water more easily than a normal person with a regular metabolism...If you are hypothyroid, all of your body functions slow down...Good Luck!
