Help: To Cut or Bulk?

Hey, Im currently knew here and still reading up on the huge quantities of information here. Starting this year I'm hoping to get my body back into shape, which from reading seems to mean get your diet sorted!

Basically, I'm a bit confused as to whether I should be bulking or cutting. I've heard some people say that cutting (Lean Bulking?) is better, and others saying that bulking then cutting, and numerous other variations.

Im around 6ft4 and 19 years old. I weigh 11 stone and my BF is around 6-8%. I literally only carry any fat I have around the "Waist" that tyre like area of lower stomach, and waist/top ass (I think some people call it Puppy fat?) Apart from that their is nothing much on me at all.

I am looking to put on a lot of muscle mass and get bigger in general, however from what iv read putting on "Lean Muscle Mass" would be better? (Again abit confused on this)

Any information and feedback is appreciated! I can always stick some pictures up if you think that would help more!

Hips: 32cm
Waist: 72cm
Forearm: 27cm
Wrist: 18.7cm
 
Try to get rid of the fat, but you only weigh 151 Lbs. I'd say focus on basic compound movements and work to gain some strength and size. Lean bulking is very different that cutting. If you are really 6-8% bodyfat, bulking is the way to go.

Thanks! Ye I really am a skinny minny right now, Literally the only bit of fat i have on me is a thin layer over my abs and a tiny bit on my hips. I always thought bulking was the way to go but after doing some research I got a few mixed responses, some saying that Lean Bulking was the way to go etc.

Would you recommend bulking or "Lean" bulking (If there is a difference)

Bulking usually refers to a "dirty" bulk when calorie control is less of an issue-the focus is on putting on size, period. The only problem is you will have a bit of extra weight to cut after your cycle. Clean bulk implies a very clean diet, and not a lot of extra fat gained. Kinda depends on what your goals are.

Ooh right! Thanks! Ye ill definitely be trying to lean more towards the clean bulking then, as eating healthily is another aim :P Gotta try cut out all the crap foods!
