I have no experience with being a hardgainer, so I thought I would ask some of you guys with knowledge of this situation for some input. I have a friend who is 21 about 5'8" and 127 lbs. He basically looks like skeletor and he wants a change. He seems like he really wants it so I decided I would take time to help him achieve his goals by training him. I am going to work on his diet and form first, seeing that he is a newbie to training altogether. I was thinking of getting him on a 6 meal a day schedule, increasing his protein intake to about 175-200 grams per day, and low volume workouts on a 3 day a week split total body workout. This would have him roughly following chris aceto's recommendations for a beginner. Any of you guys have some input....foreman, musclepump, LAM, mudge,etc.?
