My question has to do with creatine and damage to the kidney. Now reading some of the other posts I read that the "Good" creatine has little side effects. But if not taking a "Good" creatine, then there can be side effects.

Right now I have been trying two(2) types of creatine. Plasma Expandor and V-12, and been thinking about trying V2. I am worried about kidney trouble with these supps. mostly the V2. I have heard that V2 has something in it that is bad for the kidneys.

Please, tell me that the three creatiens that I have listed are safe and that there is no hazzards in taking them. If there is a problem with them is there any way of avoiding the problems like cycling? As I'm sure with everone here, I just want to take the best and "Safest" supplement out there!! If you can please tell me what you thinks is the best creatine and any side effects that you might have had??

Thanks for all the info!!!

creatine is good

Ive done alot of reading on the net lately about creatine, mostly scientific studies, in one test they tested althletes taking creatine nonstop for over a 10 year period, periodically testing for kidney and liver damage, blood tests, the works, well they found out that creatine didnt do any damage whatsoever to them... Ive read 3 or 4 similar studies on creatine, I wouldnt worry.. most studies show you can take it for years, its not harmfull........THIS IS JUST WHAT I HAVE READ, AND IS MY OPINION. hope this helps

just keep it between 5-10 grams a day, and you will be totally fine

Ive ran swole v2...and its good...better pumps than normal creatine....but then again you should also just give cheap creatine monohydrate a try...if you react well to it then you will be able to get your creatine much cheaper...ill go back to generic creatine when my swole runs out

the main difference with cheap creatine monohydrate and the big names companie's creatines are the transport system...wich is essientally dextrose and glucose added to normal creatine...

go out and get a cheap tub of creatine monohydrate and a tub of dextrose(gatorade powder if yoou want).....take 5 g creatine...and 40-60 g dextrose...bam you have most of the big name creatine transport systems for half the price
