Hello everyone,

I am 5' 9", Usually 156 lbs. My goal is not to become too big, I guess lean 165 lbs would be ok for me. My % body fat is decent, I would say around 11-13%.

I can usually see (with decent definition) my abs, shoulders, quads, etc. The thing is, I always have had trouble with fat in my pecs and lats... Not to much like having flabby pecs, but they do not finish to define in the outer side. Upper side is ok, inner side is ok, outer side is decent, but not ok.

After last winter I gained a couple of lbs in fat (also muscle), so fat in my pecs increased a little bit more.

One month ago I decided to get rid of the extra fat (on my lats, pecs and abs), I played with my macros, increased cardio and went down to 147 lbs. My plan was to slim down and then start bulking in a cleaner and more controlled way... So my gains will be more muscle, less fat (specially to address the pecs issue). I do not feel I had lost that much muscle, now my body is more defined, the fat in abs and part of my lats is gone, I started to see may veins in the lower abs, even my lats started to show better... But guess what? The fat in outter pecs and lats, while is less, is still there!!!!

I think, if I go up, I will get more fat in my pecs, but if go down I will disappear!

What should I do to get rid of that fat and start gaining quality muscle?

Thank you all for taking your time to read this and for your replies.

Without a bit of chemical engineering help you'll find it impossible to add muscle without some fat. Best you can do is clean bulk to add some mass then cut.

Thank you for your answer...

I am aware when bulking you also gain fat. My concern is to bulk without getting rid of the fat already existing in the pecs area.

My doubt is: Should a trim a little bit more weight until the existing fat is gone in pecs, before start bulking in a cleaner way?

Spot reduction

Thanks again rahaas!

About this product... I never seen it before but herd from Cutting Gel and other similar ones, and not so sure if they really do something....

Have you tried this one?

Regards

Just started on it about a week now. I'm on a calorie deficit hoping to drop a few pounds which from speaking to the rep and talking with some others who know the compounds in the product seam to think it will work. Also I have read a few of the journals of guys that have been on it longer and they have been happy with results.

Can I ask you again lets say in 4 weeks to see how are you doing with it?

Sure. So far I'm down 3 pounds thru combined factors. Strength is still there so I'm happy so far.

After 5 weeks cutting I was so tired I decided to take one week break (this week).

I will return to the gym next week for at least 6 weeks. I am thinking to continue cutting to reach 140 lbs. I hope by then (if I haven't disappear jaja) I will lose that stubborn fat... After that I will try to clean bulk so I get back to 154 and up.

Lets see what happens.
