I was given a BodyTech (by Formula Ventures) weight machine, but I don't have an owner's manual or any documentation with it. The model number is 95300-15. It looked like a pile of scrap metal when I got it, but I've managed to piece together the major components. A couple of the cables were cut when it was disassembled (I didn't see it until it looked like a pile of scrap metal), so I'll have to make a couple cables to replace them. The problem is that I have no clue how the cables & pulleys are supposed to be configured.

Anyone have a machine like this that could show me pictures or maybe suggestions as to where I might be able to get a copy of the owner's manual or assembly instructions? It has 2 weight stacks and 4 stations.

Thanks,
cm

Why not try contact the manufacturer and ask for an instruction manual or something? You'll have to pay for it, but at least you'll know you're getting 100% correct advice.

Dont skimp on something that youll be moving vast amounts of weight with. Only takes one faulty component to give you a really bad day, yknow?

They don't appear to be around anymore. I'm guessing that this setup was purchased back in the early 90's, but it's a commercial duty outfit that I was plumb tickled to get my hands on. There seem to be LOTS of requests throughout the net for information on putting together the cable & pulley systems on these gyms.

In that case id take a look at as many similar pieces of kit you can find untill you find somebody whos done this one before, haha. They cant be drastically different from other pulleys, right?

One would think. That's kind of what I've been trying to do...look at other systems and try to figure it out. So far it isn't going very well. If only they'd taken a picture of it before it was dismantled.
