Ok my girlfriends mum has just come out of hospital and she has been told to keep to a high protein diet. She is in her early eighties and i was wondering what sort of things she should be eating, i know whats good for most of us here but will it be any different because of her age ????? :thumb:

Maybe keep her off the creatine:joke:

I'm no doctor but healthy clean foods are healthy clean foods independant of age. Save for special dietary requirements outside of 'high protien' that would be unique to her. I would think she certainly doesnt need the volume or frequency of foods we eat, but for the most part, you can't beat the nutrition many of adhere to. Lots of veg fruit, lean meats, and complex carbs... if she is spry enough to walk a bit, all the better.

That's just my 2 pence :).
