Good day to Everyone!!! I'm sorry to say that I was a bit taken back by a Thread (recently closed), where members and a new member were verbally attacking one another. Alot of very mean and hurtful things were said by all three parties involved and it was ALL very uncalled for.
I think that we all can agree that people come to these sites to have fun, learn, just chat, and maybe even get a little ego boost when your a bit insecure. Regardless of the reason, people shouldn't insult others for their reason(s) unless they were hurtfull first or insulting. I think what I saw was horrible and I hope never to see it again. If someone comes here and wants to post 100 pics of themselves for whatever reason, let them!! They are not hurting you!! And if someone makes a little wisecrack regarding the pics, don't go BALLISTIC with insults and name calling!! Just say "WHATEVER"!!! WE are better then that here at Ironmagazine.com. If you want to act like kids, go over to MM.com. There are tons of children there to pick a fight with. My point in a nutshell here is this: JUST BE NICE!!! If something someone says to you isn't hurting you then leave them alone. Lastly, I'm not taking sides on that matter because I personally felt ALL THREE PARTIES WERE WRONG!!! Peace to all and be nice!!!

Well, I have to agree with FS on this one! I always have a good time here but unfortunately, lately, I haven't been able to say full sentences (at work) but place smilies etc. on threads. Anyone who knew/knows me knows that I usually have a long speil to say etc.

It was a shame how that thread went down but I do have to say that I have had a lot of things said to me in a negative way or in a way where I could've let my mouth run back at them. But I didn't though! I have had people of the old and people of the new take potshots at me and I can usually let it slide off of me! I've seen in other threads where I just happen to bump into them and all of a sudden I see smart remarks about me and technically I would never had known had I not looked! But it's all good and like I said, "I just won't have any type of conversation with them whatsoever! These slim few know who they are bc/ they come in transiently and then disappear.

Oh well, LIFE GOES ON!
 
Excellent Post David!!! People just for some reason have to find someone to pick on regardless how freeken huge they are and live in Fla knowing they aren't getting thier azzez kicked. hahaha Seriously though, good post. It is a shame everyone can't just accept people for who they are and just live and let live.

Well I really don't like talking Ill about someone behind their back but I can't say it to him anymore since I was banned,,, Did you ever see his picture? Bro he looks like such a dweeb. A total wannabe bodybuilder yet no muscle structure to brag about. He looked like a plain guy that you could never guess he worked out. NOt the kinda guy you would assume is a MOD at a BBing site.
 
Anyway that is enough of that. I don't like talking about people.

I am normally a very quiet person and pretty much keep my opinions to myself and the one time I don't, I get shit for it. Well now I'm pissed off all over again. Well like I said Jodi and take it from what it's worth. Nobody singled you out. You go back and read the thread again. You will see that the new gal didn't say anything to antagonize anyone. Then another member here made a "little" statement with a touch of arrogance. You dear laughed and followed it up. The New gal retaliated with name calling and obsenities. All of which was wrong and uncalled for by all three of you. So don't take it personnally just accept (or don't accept) a little criticism and forget about it. My whole point was it brought back nasty memories from MM.com and this site is by NO MEANS MM.com and I would hate to see it turn into one.

one last thing Jodi, Your a great gal and admired by all of us. You always have very good information and helpful to everyone with a question here. I can honestly see how some of the other persons statements would piss you off and probably would have pissed off most of us ( I know I would of went off on her). But then I would say to myself,, yea he/she called me a #$#!@ but then again I did provolk the thing a bit. And would look at it as an incident that got out of hand. Do I think your 1/2 to blame for the whole thing? NOO. I don't even think what you 2 gals said should have been taken soo harshly by the new gal. But she did and all hell broke loose. It was just a bad scene all together. Just forget it Jodi and don't let it discourage you in the least. Hope were still friends.
 
Yes I jumped all over it. I know it was not my fight to pick but I don't deal well with people like her that think there all that and more.
And I never said you singled me out I said you singled this disagreement out. Why when the guys argue its ok and nobody says anything but we women have a disagreement its another story. :rolleyes:
I wonder why it brought back MM memories, maybe cuz she's from there and starts disagreements there.
 
Actually I have said things to guys also about the bullshit Jodi. As for MM. Actually to be honest no she didn't start things over there. To be even more honest I was constantly in arguments with some of them and hell yea nasty ones that put yours to shame. I just like it so much better here because it is "rare" to see it. I just want it to stay this way. And Jodi,, feel free to point out when others (the guys or whomever) are out of line. You have that right as a member also.
 
That thread was a perfect display of shitty behavior. Nothing good came of it, and I hope I don't see anything like that happen here again any time soon.
 
It's still pretty pathetic that you're still making negative comments about me Jodi. My comment wasn't even aimed at you, so I'm not sure why you felt compelled to go off on me. I never said I was all that....however, you're the one who started in on the physical comments, which became very personal to me. So who gives a rats ass if I post pictures here. I'm not an insecure woman, believe me. I know I can hold my own without having people tell me. I was asked by Prince if I posted more photos, he would make me an elite member.....so it was out of request that my photos be posted.

It would help if ya got to know me before you make judgements. Same goes for Britney.

See why are you going off here hunny. I'm trying to make a point. That is, everytime I say your name you go off. All I said was it would be nice if we could all get to know eachother before we make judgements. If you can't back down, then I simply give up....cause no matter what I say, you'll always think I'm attacking you, when I'm not.

I don't dislike you or Jodi..however if you can't make peace, then what is the point? Can't you see I'm trying to be the good person here?
