So recently been noticing my piss some days looks a little soapy as in the water bubbles up as if I'm pissing soap. Doesn't happen every time but it happens atleast every few days and on those days sometimes 2-3 times. I know this means I'm pissing out protein, my question is am I in danger for 1, and for 2 if I am have I already done damage? This has been going on for several weeks and I just now found out what it meant. I've been dieting my ass off carb cycling up until about a month ago I switched to Keto and thats when I noticed the difference. Feel free to chime in.

I personally prefer to avoid ketosis and stick to a simple calorie reduction or a carb-cycling diet. People are incorrectly convinced that you will lose more fat using a keto diet, but the science doesn't support that idea.

You need to make sure you drink PLENTY of water when consuming high amounts of protein.

do you use any self cleaning products in your toilet like clorox tabs or 2000 flushes. the blue die fades after 2-3 weeks but the bleach tablet last months.

I've been on a low carb diet for 10years, I have diabettes so I have to keep my carbs low. I havent had any kidney issues. you should be fine if your only on a diet for a month

You shouldn't be Low Carb/High Protein, glucogenic amino acids convert to glucose so it would be defeating the purpose. If you are low carb you should increase fat to make up the difference. FYI, I have been eating this way since Nov. 2010 and have nad no problems eating low carb (Basically<60-75g carb per day).

I totally agree. Rob just kicked up his water intake. He is on a high protein and low carb diet almost always, but his water intake has always been low. He is feeling a ton better now that he is drinking plain water and not just flavored water.
