HIIT cardio on my off day.

I workout mon/tues and thurs/fri, leaving my off days wed/sat/sun. I would like to do HIIT cardio on wednesday, but my concern is that I do lower body on tuesday. I'm usually a little sore on wednesday in my hams/quads, but is it ok to do HIIT cardio the day after?

I wouldn't recommend it. It would definitely be best to space things out if you don't mind getting in a workout on the weekend instead.

You probably could get away with it if you are against working out on the weekends, but you may as well optimize recovery if you can.
