I've been doing HIT for 3 years now and got some pretty good numbers for my reps:

Flat Hammer Bench - Almost 5 plates per side
Nautilus Dips - 5 and 1/2 Plates per side
Leg Press - 15 plates per side
Pull downs - 290 pounds
etc.

Now this is natural and I know its not amazing poundages, but not bad for
2 - 45 min. workouts a week. I see volume trainers (Pumpers) who can't do this.
:D

OK here it comes, I don't use much free weights cause of a shoulder prob I got years back with the bench, However, I am a believer as most Hitters are that muscles don't care where the resistance comes from (aka Arthur Jones, Mentzer) to name a couple. Now the free weghters will
argue that U are not getting u'r full potential from machines, but they work from me and I'me hardly in the Gym with my busy schedule.

Can't complain...nuff said

Wow.

Huge waste of thread.

You must be a masochist.

Camaro, waste not, I still believe HIT training is the way to go if U want to or don't care to spend much time in a gym. Friends of mine have tried the 1 set to failure thing and have agreed it works for them, my bros tried it and pushes 100 pound dumbells on the bench at 165 pound. Again not bad for HIT training. Also, remember the old timers Casey Viator, Mike & Ray Mentzer and Dorian alll used this style of training need I say they were all great BB's...

Your preaching to the choir when it comes to agruing your HIT point as my brother and I have both used HIT style programs as the base of our bodybuilding for the past 3 years or so.

Coming into a thread just to tell us what your exercise weights are is lame.

And let me tell you something from a guy who has used HIT with success... you will get burnt out and progress will come to a halt without proper accomidations.

So if Camaro believes in HIT than I am not preaching to him, its to others that I am trying to say give it a chance, its good.

Yo man, I list my weights not to brag cause they are not the most amazing things ever and I only listed them to prove that it shows good progress.
What am I to say? I've used HIT and well you know, better not, cannot tell U some progress stats up to this point. Come on, if I was Ryan Kelly Bench presser extra ordinary then I might brag, but I am just trying to prove a point. Oh ya about accomidations done that - take 2 weeks off when a plateau hits and also switch up exercises, but still use HIT.

Would a point be made better if I did not mentioned the weights used, I don't think so man.
