How come you can no longer view threads in the Picture Gallery?

I guess I'll continue to use this site for the great info but start getting pics from somewhere else
Collecting 5 bucks for the membership sounds like a scam to me.
Was there notice that this was going to happen? I'm not saying that there wasn't (I probably just never noticed). Please give us all lots of notice before we're charged money to look at they rest of the forums. We will need time to find another source of info

I say the 5 bucks would be worth it even if it was to get access to this site???

There has been a donation option for this website using paypal but sense the majority of the people don???t donate including myself this was going to happen sooner or later with the increasing # of members???
So true... anyone that has an ounce of knowledge about websites and the internet should know how unusual a non-affiliated, completely free website is. A ONE time $5 fee is nominal and in my book completely worth it!!!
I was kind of curious why only the Picture Gallery has a fee and not the Member's Pics as well???

$5 is a PITTANCE! This is also only for picture forum access.
There are boards out there asking for ~$20 a month, which is not a pittance IMO. Thats monthly internet access for most people.

The members pics forum was not included cause we like ya'll to keep posting your pics... it's different than looking at half-naked models 
And it certainly isn't a scam! How do you think Prince pays for this website that you all look at for free everyday? Out of his own pocket! The pic forum takes up a lot of bandwidth...every time someone views a pic, it uses more, and he has to pay for it on his own...We are not looking to make money off this site, merely re-coup the costs of keeping it going.

I am sorry you feel this way, but I have to generate revenue or eventually I will not be able to afford this site and it will have to close.
Web hosting gets quite expensive once a site/board gets as busy as this one has, and if it continues to grow it will get too expensive for me to afford.
Collecting $5.00 is not a scam, the Picture Gallery uses a lot of bandwidth and the choice was to either get rid of it or charge a access fee.
I want to keep this board free, and that is why we are seeking other avenues for revenue, e.g. banner ads & the Personal Training services.
I know that a lot of people think that everything on the internet is free, but believe me someone always pays, in this case it's me!
My goal was never to make a profit with this site and board, in fact it's cost me hundreds of dollars to put up and keep it running. I would like to see IronMagazine.com stay online and continue to grow, but that means that the webhosting costs will also continue to grow.
The rest of the forums will remain free, I promise!

Great site, good people....(except Dero and Kuso), wtf, 5 bucks is nothing! Give the guy a break, he puts in a lot of work here even though it's behind the scenes and most people don't see it.
Who thought about this 5 bucks thingy?
