I like money. I like talking about it. I like knowing how much people are paid and how much they paid for their assets. I want to know how much they paid because I bought my home from the builder and they bought theirs from a realtor. I know the realtor paid close to 300K for the place and was sitting on it for a little over a year. I'm curious as to how much he sold it for.

do you think about money when you have sex? sorry. i just grew up being taught that it was rude to ask people what they paid for things. and when people asked me what something cost i thought they were socially inept. you could try asking him how big his johnson is and then give him a big smile and say "just kidding man, i was wondering what you paid for this place". you will never have to worry about socializing with your neighbors again.

the general rule of thumb is if you can't ask to a person's face without feeling like a cad, it's none of your business. there's a guy here that is well known for being like that. he is hugely disliked and seen as a money grubbing weasel. like instead of saying thank you for a great meal you know he's wondering what it cost you to host the party.

one day a friend and i were sitting on her porch. she got all disgusted and said "i hate that, they've drove by here with that boat three times now showing it off". i was thinking "what the fuck? envious much". i hadn't even noticed the boat and maybe it was people vacationing that were having trouble finding a friend's house. being focused too much on what stuff costs and who has what can get to be a huge character flaw. you're young, maybe you should consider stopping a habit that is not going to win you any points with people. sorry to be blunt but friends should tell the truth. this makes you look bad. like you're coming to the party with poop on your shoe. and it doesn't matter if you pry n poke your nose in behind someone's back. it's still wrong.
