The bourgeoisie became the wealthy of Europe. The true middle class came years later, but the foundation was set by the bourgeoisie. Actually, they seeds that they planted came to haunt them later.

Talk to an economist or someone who understand the underpinnings of economy of middle class. It's generally accepted that the middle class started with the Black Plague. It killed so many peasants that for the first time in history (at least in Europe) the supply of laborers exceeded demand and could get higher wages. This low demand of laborers wasn't (and isn't) static, its fluctuated over the years (e.g. The early 1900s in the US), but is the basis for the middle class.

Yeah sure it is illegal. It has been for years and years. The problem is it hasn't been enforced worth a shit. There are 12 million in this country. They are enrolled in schools. They do yard and house work for millions of people including politicians, law enforcement and immigration officers. What does that tell you... Someone hasn't been enforcing this 'law' very much over the years. We have illegal people that have been in this country living and working for 40+ years. They have legal American born children and grandchildren with tight family environments. Now you want to tell these people thanks for their last 40 years of work but you are going to throw them out of the country and break up their family? It just hasn't been a enforced law for so many years, it is completely unfair to change the rules after this long.

If you want to enforce it fine... start enforcing it but people that are already here and established shouldn't have their lives pulled out from under them. There should be some legal route they can take to stay in the country.

One thing Americans don't seem to realize is that people can't just apply for citizenship legally. There just isn't a way to do it.

They are a large important part of the economy. They are harder working than most Americans I have seen and make far less.

They should allow immigrants to have full citizenship if they can provide a video of a useless American living off of welfare doing things that could be considered a job skill. Like a neighbor of mine was on welfare in Texas and he was always outside working on cars getting money under the table and drunk every night. If they get the video and prove a person on welfare can work, they should then get a permit to kidnap that person and have them transported to a Guatemalan jungle, then they can come back and take over that persons home and vehicle.

What planet are you from? Of course there's a way to legally apply for citizenship. Yeah, it takes some time, but it's there and gets used every day by people who respect this country and it's laws.

Of course I do, what's that got to do with people coming across the border to work for 10 dollars a day? And they werent the "original people" Native Americans were. The Mexican race is a mixed race period. Spanish+indian=mexican Asians, Africans, Arabs all come to this country to money serious money, get PH.D's and do serious jobs. Mexicans come over to work cheap labor illegeally and get this, acts like this is mexico! Their the only race that do this. Mexican music, mexican flags they act like they love mexico so much.
