How long to receive a letter from customs?

How long after a package is seized do you get the letter from customs? Let's just say it's been two months or so.... hypothetically speaking.

They have 45 days to send you a letter.
If you have not received it by 60 days the sender may not have sent it or customs probably doesnt have it.

Yes, but it was from Z and we know what's going with that. One made it to domestic shores and one never left origin. I asked my buddy and his letter took 6 months to arrive, seems unusual in his case.

I've always received mine in about 3 weeks

Ordered stealth stuff a while back, tracked it to customs, never recieved a letter at all, they know the only way to get an order reshipped is to produce a letter so they just confiscate and never send letter.
