In spurts, I take the kids there when it's hot.
Don't believe Kefe.So very disturbingly put...
I dont know. I complain a lot. I mean, a LOT. People piss and moan just about my pissing and moaning, but it takes replies like Bone's and DOMS's to know that there are worse cases out there.![]()
He's marking his territory.....Considering everytime I sit next to you in a theater you proceed to rip farts through the first half hour...
Don't eat his popcorn in the theater.Considering everytime I sit next to you in a theater you proceed to rip farts through the first half hour...

So did I. There are usually multiple pages for movie threads. At least, I know I am one of em!
Ive gone alone sometimes. I dont mind it either, but in our society thats considered loser-ish..
I watch a lot of movies, but mostly at home.hmmm, I thought alot of you guys were big movie-goers, guess not.
I don't consider it loser-ish at all. I recently had a conversation about this. It was unbeknownst to me before the convo that alot of people viewed it that wauy. They said they would never go to the movies alone. In most cases, that is exactly what I would want to do.
I remember 2 Seinfeld episodes that had a quick little duet about the theater.
One scene talked about how its pointless to bring someone to a movie. You cant talk to the other person during the movie nor can you watch the movie for them. How does bringing someone with you increase the level of enjoyment?
Another scene talked about where to sit in a movie. I think it was Kramer who wanted to sit next to Jerry and and Jerry said "if we were watching a movie at my house, would we sit right next to each other?"
There was a 3rd scene with George that I already touched on and thats when George wanted to watch Home Alone at Jerry's. When asked why doesnt he watch it at home, George said, "well if I watch it at home, I dont feel like I am doing anything, but here, at least I am out of the house."
Plotless conversations, but interesting points nonetheless.

I don't like to go to the movies alone because I need someone to share the experience with and talk to about it when it's over. I find the previews much more entertaining if I can pull a Dane Cook and have movie critic time with a friend or girlfriend after each one. Someone to look over at after something cool happens and give them the "how awesome was THAT?" look, or if a movie is dragging on I can look at them and give them the "are you as hideously bored as I am?" look.
Movie theaters, I mean you pay to go and there's a lot of people there most of the time... I want to have a friend there amongst all those people otherwise I feel somewhat out of place. To me it rates up there with dressing up and going to a nice resturaunt by myself. It just doesn't feel right even if the food is good.
