Okay so I've been on a cut for while now and I've managed to lose around 32lbs since around April as I was carrying a lot of body fat. I lost a lot of fat however I lost quite a bit of muscle with it too and my strength went down. I recently seen a poster for a powerlifting competition between university's of the strongest student for the 20th October however I wondered how much time I'd need to be ready for it as I really have no idea about power training as of yet. Do you think I can realistically be ready for it in this space of time? Either way I'm going to give it a shot just wanted some advice
I'd love to hear any power routines you'd recommend too?
The qualifying rounds are these 5 events:
Bench press 90kg (Max reps)
Deadlift 140kg (Max reps)
50m sled drag (Quickest time)
50m Farmers walk 100kg (Quickest time)
50m Prowler push 140kg (Quickest time)
Also, how would I train for the last 3 exercises in a non powerlifting focused gym?
