Hey there guys!
wave.gif

I have a question about cardio....
I usually have 6 sessions a week for about
60 minutes each time.. Mostely spinning and mountainbiking, but also stuff like running and Aerobicboxing. Is this too much?

I'm one of those weirdos who just love cardio and feeling the sweat running down my body ..

My goal is to get more definintion, but of course not loose muscle.. Am I burning away all that precious muscles as well and slowing down my results?? Should I decrease my cardio or not?

Hope that someone will be able to help me!!

I don't think you should reduce your cardio. If you CAN do that much and you keep mixing it up to keep your body guessing, why not?

Do you lift also?

Yep, I sure do! Lift that is..

about four times a week.. This is my split:

Monday: Back & Chest
Wednesday:Biceps & triceps
Thursday: Legs
Sunday: Shoulders & abs

Comments and tips very welcome!

Realised I posted this in the nutrition section.. oops, I did it again..mistake....

I know that if I did that much cardio, I would lose muscle!

Remember, as far as getting lean/defined, your diet is more important than cardio.

Just because the majority believes it, does not make it true!

What kind of food should you eat if you are wanting to become more defined? I have been trying to bulk up for the last couple of months, eating lots of carbs. I put on about a stone in weight which I wanted but also ended up with a fat belly. Now that summer is almost here I want to loose the belly and become more defined. I have started doing more cardio but I am unsure about how to change my diet. Should I just try and really cut done on carbs and increase protein? I am unsure so any help would be appreciated,
thanks,
AC.

Man, don't know why, but the thought of sweat running down a fine women's body is a major turn on for me.

I remember when I started the running kick, I would run for 1 hour at a time for like 5 times a week with good intensity.
I lost like 40lb but I know at least half of that was muscle.

If you want to continue doing that much cardio, maybe you could cut it back to like 30-45 min per time, this way your not depleting your energy stores so much that your body starts to use the protein from your muscles for energy.
