how often to work a muscle group

just kind of woundering how often a week you should work a muscle group such as (biceps, chest, back, etc... )
 
depends how many sets you do at each workout, but i do chest - 10 sets, back 12 sets, legs 12 sets, shoulders 10 sets, triceps 7 sets, biceps 6 sets... all once a week
 
go once every 5 days
 
there is no exact answer to this question, but I usually say every 5-7 days.

Some muscle groups recuperate quicker than others, arms, shoulders and upper back for example. Where as muscle groups like quads and lower back take the longest time to recuperate.

Either way, there are many variables to be considered too. The type of routine you're on, how heavy you're lifting, etc. If I am on one of my heavy lifting, bulking cycles I only hit each body part once per week.
 
calves,abs, and forearms are very stubborn that can be hit more often than others
