Well guys I was hoping that some time would heal my wounds but I am afraid time hasn't done a good job. A couple weeks ago I had a horrible "pump" in my lower back while warming up for squats (just had 135 on the bar). I decided that this was probrably my body telling me no so I just did some back extensions with no weight and tried to loosen things up. Well that made the pain to the point of walking like a gimp. I attributed the pain to superdrol since I had read of such pains. I have been off superdrol for a week and a half now and have avoided abs, obliques, and lower back completely in an effort to let my body fix itself. I have no pain in everyday life. My workouts have continued well until today. I decided to try some squats (its leg day) so I did some leg ext, curls, and calf raises and eyed up the squat rack. I did 2 sets of back extensions w/o weight for 10 reps, then some oblique crunches, and incline ab crunches for 20 reps. I was feeling good at this point. I went over the the rack and put 135 on my shoulders (normally work with 315-350 for the actual workout so this was really light) and did squats very slowly focusing on keeping the back perfectly straight. After the first set (15 reps) There was just a slight tightness in the lower back, nothing painful and it felt as if I was working the muscle.. I stretched my back and did another set of 15 ensuring slow and good form once again. I felt much tighter after this set and racked up the weight and decided to call it a day. I walked maybe 100 yards total to my car and my back was getting tighter with each step with pain increasing with each step. I got home, looked like an old man getting out of the car and walked in pain. I made a meal and took 2 aleve and within 15 mins I felt fine again. What is up with this? I only have pain while excercising, and only excercises that have a connection to the lower back- such as bench doesn't bother me. Within 15 mins of finishing a workout the pain goes away with the help of aleve. This pain is not uncomfortable, its more like unbearable! Any ideas?
