Hushmail Sucks!

I presume many of you have hushmail accounts. I am constantly having problems with my account. Damn computer locks up half the time when the encryption engine loads. Right now, I can't even get my mail. Are other people having this problem?

I have a brand new computer, about a month old, real fast. Even with that, it freezes up the Internet Explorer window when that loads. So.... yep.

If your computer is locking up you probably have JVM issues. I had some in the past with one particular computer, uninstalled it and isntalled another version straight from Sun.

I don't know what JVM or Sun is. I have only had the account for a few weeks, and have always had the problem where it locks up. I have to disconnect my power just to turn my computer off.

Java is a programming language developed by Sun Microsystems. Microsoft created its own version called Java Virtual Machine until Sun sued them. As a result JVM cannot be downloaded from Microsoft, you need to get it here from Sun.

I use Sun's Java and Hushmail regularly locks up my browser . I've also tried it with Mozilla and Firefox and it still locks up.

cyber-rights.com works great for me. It shares encryption keys with hushmail.

just use plain ol public key encryption a'la verisign. But why be so paranoid about the mail ?

I've had browser hangs once in a very blue moon, but almost always I have no issues - I use Cyber-Rights though not Hushmail (they do share keys as noted though, and even shares server resources it appears).

Most of my issues arose when I downloaded the Cyber-Rights messenger, so I dont use it anymore.
