I am busting my ass so you can buy Corona with foodstamps

I just wrote a check, my application fee for the bar exam was close to $565; five hundred and sixty five fucking dollars just to put in an application. The study course for the bar exam itself costs $3,000. I am over $50k in debt already from law school, luckily I had nearly a full scholarship to undergrad. Many people take two months off from work and study 8 hours a day for the bar exam, I can't afford to do this, so I will be studying 30-40 hours per week in addition to working 40 hours per week for the next three months.

But in the end, it will all be worth it. I'll be working away my youth, paying over 40% in taxes after Obama Hussein gets elected, in order to support the welfare class and finance socialized health insurance. To top it off, I go to the grocery store this afternoon, and the woman in line in front of me is trying to buy Coronas with food stamps. Not only does she have the nerve to try to get alcohol, but she is drinking nicer beer than I do; I drank Miller Highlife last night. She gets all pissed when the cashier won't let her pay for it with food stamps, so she opens up her purse and I can see she has more cash than I do.

Steal from the rich and give to the poor. The cry of the Democrat. This isn't the fourteenth century and they're not Robin Hood. The poor aren't medieval serfs being taxed unfairly.

The majority of the poor are do-nothing illegals, multi-generational welfare families, first generation Mexicans squatting in the US, and more generally, undeserving people.

I'm certainly not rich (yet), but I'm also just as certainly (like Clemson) being robbed by the Democrats on behalf of the unworthy.

True, there are some people who genuinely need the help of welfare, but those are the minuscule exception. I've been there, I've seen the poor of American, and the vast majority of them deserve to be there.

They sure as hell don't have the right to be stealing money from me.

That's what I'm saying, you already invested your money in future money. She is investing her money in getting drunk and ending up pregnant again with one more mouth to feed. Yeah you're paying taxes but you can do like I do and pretend that the taxes you pay are going to something you stand for like maybe a few soldiers and sailors paychecks, let some other shmuck who thinks it's the honorable thing to do pretend his money is going to the"under privileged masses" who will only use the charitable money's to buy food for their babies and not a hundred pounds of steaks for C-Locs getting out of jail party.....

Well my client went to the grocery store to buy food with the food stamps. Since she is a mexican the only mexican food she found was Coronas. Beer has calories, it is considered food. You can say it is not nutritious but most of your fast foods are not better than beer. She also didnt know she was in US because California was a part of Mexico. So technically she is not an illegal immigrant. But then you can say you bought California from Mexico/Spain but you bought that because Mexico was poor and they didnt have money for food, so you bought California with food stamps.
 
Try to look on the bright side of things. You can still be happy in life. I understand your rant though.

I see this every day as well. The EBT crowd loads up on crab legs and steak, make their weekly attempt at buying booze, put on the old worn out "da man is tryin' to keep me down/keep me from gettin' my drink on" drama, leave the store, get into their Cadillac Escalade with the word "DUBS" on the back window in big shiny letters, and drive home to thier 1956 singlewide trailer.

When I first bought this restaurant, I could have easily qualified for food stamps, etc. But I wouldn't dream of applying for such stuff. Why? Because I have this little thing called a WORK ETHIC!

Don't sweat it, Tiger. Just pass the bar, get some experience under your belt, and GO CHANGE SOME LAWS.:thumb::D
