How many teaspoons/tablespoons would I have to take to receive the benefits equal taking to flax seed oil?

Why not just use flax oil, unless you're cooking with the seeds or something?. To answer your question however, I do not know.

Just remember you have to grind them up in a coffee grinder before you eat them otherwise they will just pass right through you. :)

well i bought the seeds like a couple months ago and i dont want them to go to waste so until i finish the seeds, i probably wont get flax oil

but would a teaspoon or two be good enough for the benefits ( ground flax )

I think it is 2:1 seed to oil.

Grind them up. And yes the seeds have some benefit over the oil. Fibre

Basically, go here and change the serving size to ground and then choose the quantity

1 TB of oil is 13g fat, 0 fibre and 0 protein.
Looks like as far as fat goes it's more like 10:1 ground seed to oil (but that's closer to a 2/3 cup of ground flax and about 300 more cals than 1Tb of oil).

Ground seed has more bang for the buck.

I will have to do some research on this, but essentially, the others are right. Unless you grind them up really well, they will pass right through you. I see what I can find out.

can i manually crush them? i dont have anything to crush them with

Just go to a department store tomorrow and buy a coffee grinder. You can get them for under $12.

Coffee grinder is your best option. You could use a mortar and pestle if you want a minor forearm workout :D

Muscle Gelz Transdermals
IronMag Labs Prohormones

the coffee grinder at least

So flaxseed oil would be beneficial to a wannabe weight gainer??. And it looks like oil-yes!! seeds-no....
