I need a shotgun.

a moderately priced,compact, maiming shotgun that i can hook to the back of my headboard. 12 gauge. gotta be pump action. Everyone gives second thought to that sound.

Use:
-If someones breaking into my apartment i want to be able to take the door or the hinges.
-I'm not too good at aiming. so this should cover a nice spread.

Safety precaution: (great idea Adam Carolla)
- first round a blank. If you come home and your girlfriend is sitting on the bed with the shogun accusing you of cheating, don't worry make a break for the door.

A Reminging 870 Express is one of the best selling 12 gauge pump action shotguns. It comes with 26, 28, or 30 inch barrel, so buy the 26 inch barrel. I think the box comes with both a full choke and a modified choke. You will need the modifed choke if you want a wide spread.

it came with a 20inch barrel and a 28inch barrel
I removed the rear stock, put on a pistol-grip
and now the whole thing will fit under any winter coat
all for less than $300

Beretta makes some of the best firearms. If you buy a beretta, you will probably never have any problems with it if you take care of it. The only gun maker that I like more than Beretta is Browning.

I'd just like to go to a range and rent one for a day......a few hours of shooting that would relieve a lot of stress, especially if the range would let me bring some cardboard cutout targets of people on my shit list.....
