I Need Help Building A Diet

I'm trying to better myself, and, I consider
everyone here my mentors. I would like to
add more to my diet that I have so far.

Here's what I Got

Breakfast
Spaggetti with Sausage (Hillshire Farms) and
Prego Sauce.

Lunch
Mcdonalds
Quarter Pounder with Cheese, Fries, Soda.
I know its not healthy but, its
either that or Salad, and, if I eat Salad,
my stomach will burn. Its like teasing my Stomach.

Dinner
Spaggetti with Sausage, and Prego Sauce

Snack:
Cream Of Wheat or Oatmeal

Snack #2:
5 Baked Potatoes or 5 bowls of Cocoa Puffs and/or Honey Nut Cheerios.

Liquids: Milk, Water.

So thats; (On A Daily Basis)

One Box of Spaggetti
One Package of Hillshire Farms Sausage
Two Jars of Prego
Mcdonalds
5 potatoes or 5 Bowls of cereal
Big Bowl of Oatmeal or Cream Of Wheat
Half Gallon of Milk
Water

This is 5 days out of the week. On the Weekends I'll eat a whole chicken, white
rice and Corned Beef with rice (Saturday
and Sunday)This will replace lunch and
dinner on the weekday.

What Do You Think?

wow, no offense but that diet is really unhealthy

if want want to put on weight and grow a little muscle the best way to do it is not just to eat fattening or carb-loaded foods.

The key for size gains is protein. Although you have plenty of carbs, you probably don't have enough protein in your diet. If I were you I would eat plenty of meat, milk is good, and perhaps protein bars or shakes.

But I would definately cut the McDonalds and all that spaghetti out, and replace it with a more variety of wholesome foods.

you have a high metabolism, dont you. it sounds like it since you like spaghetti so much. spaghetti is fine, but you don't need to have it as often. Try breads or cereals for carbs, and just get around 1-1.5 lbs of protein per body weight, and also:

you will be a lot better off if you put on the weight slowly and only add an excess of a few hundred calories to your daily diet. This will ensure that you are packing on muscle instead of fat.

Spagehtti is the only thing that fills me up so, I really don't think it would be wise for me to eat less speghetti unless you can
suggest something that can do the job. (Fill
my stomach)

I eat Oatmeal or Cream a Wheat on a daily
basis (Its really one of my late night snacks

How about Meatloaf? Or Home made Hamburgers?
that usually holds me down for a while.

Oh, I not only have a High Metabolism, I'm
Very Hyper.

LOL!!! Everytime I type, I have to walk around the house to release my energy. I can't stand in one place too long without
moving around.

LOL! I used to LOVE Cocoa Puffs! When I was 8! Dude, you seriously need to work on your diet.
 
whats the best thing that I can have for lunch? I'm in highschool so i can't make alot of stuff. Usually i have a turkey sandwich w/ some cheese & mustard. If i don't have a sandwich i will sometimes just eat a protein bar but it makes me really hungry.. any suggestions?
 
What is your goal?

You diet is very high in carbs and fat, very low in protein. Basically, it's pretty unhealthy all the way around!

It's not an ideal diet for bodybuilding or losing weight, so I guess we need to know what you're trying to accomplish.

5 baked potatoes for dinner?

Well, for one thing, try counting calories:
Start a journal of what you are eating every day. Calories, fat grams, protein grams, and carb grams. If you are gaining weight go over your metabolic rate in calories. If you are losing weight, go under your metabolic rate. If you are insane, go talk to Large, he enjoys that.

Weight lift and do some cardio exercise. Eat less quarter pounders, eat some turkey sandwiches from subway instead (if you can't make them yourself).

"Oh let me tell you a story bout a member called Omnifex, poor bodybuilder always kept his body fed, then one day he was eating 5 baked potatoes, then he exploded like a oil well.. fat that is... brown lipoids..."

I will tell you my diet which has been good to me.
breakfast: blend 1c. o.j., 4 tbs. flax seed, 8oz. vanilla yogurt and 2 scoops of vanilla whey.
snack: 1c. instant oatmeal
lunch: healthy choice meal
snack: apple
dinner: a lean meat, some form of green veggie and a starch.
after workout: chocolate mrp with a banana.
snack: tuna sandwich

Did you honestly comprehend the responses to your post or other topics discussed on this board? Your eating habits are a joke. I hate to sound rude, but your training is going nowhere if you continue to eat garbage! You need to adjust your diet philosophy, bigtime.
