OK so to start .
last week on bench day . I was feeling sluggish and crappy so i took some yellow jackets to get revived before the workout.
all of a sudden during the workout I felt great and recharged.
I benched
235 x5 235 x5 255x3 235 x5 235 x5

this week I figured since this stuff worked so well last week that surely it would work again this week .....wrong...I took it around 530 or 6 and didnt get to workout until around 930 (due to some undisciplined yahoo's who couldnt get there on time )I really hate that ,.... So I get on the bench and got the 235 off and I knew something was wrong from the get go . I out it up 5 times . but it was like my body had never felt that weight before. so I tried again and again and again. I could not understand why I could not put this up like I usually do . I went down in weight and same thing. couldnt do it more than 3.....I sat there of course mad at myself ...and I figured that while I was sitting there waiting for these idiots to show up ...I completely missed the window for this stuff to work and in doing so I used up all of my natural energy with it ....I then couldnt eat dinner cause I felt sick to my stomache and went to the B-room like 3 times ....i have come to the conclusion that i was doing fine before natural and I can keep progressing if I just stay off the gas station juice...sorry so long winded
 
what did you eat prior to your work out?
 
it isn't teh yellow jackets man, iy is you. I am a big ephedrine user and I never take 6, that is crazy and stupid to say the least. it is people like you who know nothing about teh supp and just pop hella that are giving it a bad name with your irresponsibility. It can be a great supp, but it can also be dangerous if you abuse teh shit like that, you need to be careful. you don't need to takje more than 50 mgs of ephedrine IMO, that is 2 pills. anymore than that and you might as wel go and tweek before your WO. be smart and be careful.

i don't think it's fair to blame the ephedrine though bro

it could've been anything... what you ate, muscle fatigue, the fact that you waited so long to train after you took the ephies...

basically, ephedrine is a stimulant, so when the "drug" wears off, you "crash"... haven't you noticed how the stuff practically makes you high? you feel great when you're on it, but once it wears off, you become slightly tired, sluggish, energy drained and irritable... or so i find... if you're going to train with ephedrine, i think the most effective way is to take it a half hour or so prior to training...

my bad, I thopught you said taht you took 6, I didn't realize taht you wre talkin about teh time. you didn't use a : in the numbers. either way, you went too long before eating anythiong, that was probably the problem man. no food for 4 hrs or so while training.
 
I've had a few bad experiences with Vitiman E [ Ephedrine :eyebrow: ]. But once I got used to it and found out the dosage, time to take befour a workout, etc. I found that it gave me a decent boost in the gym ; and about the Yellow Jackets, they contain alot of caffiene which probally caused a " gastrointestinal disturbance " - basically a stomach aches, nausea. So maybe try a differnet energy pill and see how that works.
 
I really like ECA stack... i know it's nothing special or NEW!!! or SUPER SCIENTIFIC!! but... it does work and I function very normally at work and in the gym... although it does slightly affect my CONTROL OF THE CAPS lock ON my KEYBOARD!!!!

dude, please do not comment on the supp unless you have researched it and know what you are talking about. Speculation is how misinformation is continued. To compare Ephedrine to X is ridiculous. It is a very safe drug as long as you use it correctly and do not have preexisting heart conditions.

Yes, that will happen when you lead your body to produce an excess of stimulatory hormones. If you wait until you crash before you lift, it will be as though you just woke up in the morning, after a half-hour of sleep, and decided to toss some iron.

There are plenty of studies on the ECA stack, and it has an impressive safety profile. If it's not used wisely, or by the right person, then the issue changes.

dude, you are takin it just a bit too serious man, watch who you are calling a wack job please. you don't know me and I certainly don't deserve to be destroyed, what ever the hell that is supposed to mean. next time I post I will run it by you to see if it is acceptable. By the way you may not like it, it may not sound good but those rules work.

To the original poster, if you want studies and such, I can provide them. But concerns of safety, I gather, wasn't the issue in your situation.

What you experienced can happen with caffeine alone, as well. If you're particulary stressed out in a given day, such products can actually enervate, not energize you. That is also something to take into consideration.

as previously stated above, to compare ephedrine to ecstasy is ludicrous to say the least... they have nothing in common whatsoever other than the fact that they're both stimulants...

i've seen ecstasy range from $5-$35 a pill... depends on the quality and how much you buy... i'd say $15 is the average price though... but enough about this drug talk... let's focus on the important stuff :)
 
$15 thats pretty cheap, they usually cost $35-40 around here, but yer end of drugs convo

I would see a 230 pound 6'3" woman as a challenge... I can barely satisfy one that's 5'6" 120lb, oh well... I guess it couldn't hurt to try...

dante B thanks for the info . I did exactly what you said I felt like I just woke up ....maybe the title of this thread was a little off. I wasnt saying I hate effedrin . I was just saying that my experience sucked and I am probably better off just going el natural ...I want the extra energy but its enough to calculate when i eat and how much I am lifting and all of the other factors to throw that in also . . lets just say this ...if taken right you can see awesome energy but if taken wrong in my case .it can really suck .

i don't think i'm going to bother training tonight as i've already taken my ECA on 2 seperate occasions today... once this morning before my swim and again at noon... i worked till 6 and right now i'm so energy drained it's not even funny... i was supposed to train back and biceps tonight but because back days are so important to me i might just wait until tomorrow morning so i can focus more on doing a good job rather than settling for a mediocre work out tonight...

this has been a lazy week for me... i took the weekend off, only did cardio on monday, did chest and triceps tues morn, probably taking tonight off (but did some cardio this morn)

that leaves me thurs, fri and sat to squeeze in back, bi's, legs, shoulders and traps :o

i won't be able to train sunday but monday i'm going to resume back to my regular schedule and starting monday i'm also taking a month off my ECA "cycle"
