If you can only see ONE movie this summer.....

I'm going to wait until DVD for this one.

There's a lot of awesome movies this summer I'm waiting for:

Spider Man 3

Transformers

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Hmm, I dont know if I agree with that. I am on Spidey's side.

Can't say I thought too much of the first Spiderman, have'nt seen the second which I hear is a lot better. Won't be hitting the cinema for no.3, it'll be a DVD job.

At the moment, 300 & the simpsons are the only films i would bother oing to the cinema for, but each to their own.

Edit: And Transformers of course.....

That new Die Hard movie looks pretty good also

Too bad they didn't produce this say....7 years ago, when the Simpsons show was at it's prime.

Yeah the last two season have been on a sharp downfall to say the least

I was interested in TMNT until I saw it was a cartoon. Plus the previews make it look like a kiddie movie so far.

Muscle Gelz Transdermals

YEP. The original TMNT was pretty good and does NOT need to be re-done. This remake looks like a big fucking joke thats not funny.

I forgot about Transformers. Wow.. Transformers = Spiderman 3 on the terms of desire. I wonder which would make more...

Oh man, theyve been horrible! I watched an episode last night that had one of Marge's sisters marrying Abe (Homer's dad). The sub story that filled the holes were Bart and Lisa made a cardboard castle they got from UPS workers. The UPS workers came to get their cardboards back and they had a battle that was a parody from LOTR.

It was the only interesting parts of the episode, but completely dumb.

Spider Man 3 and Transformers are the only other movies I'll probably go see in the theater. I don't see the need to go to the movies if the movie doesn't have cool special effects. I won't see The Simpson's movie either way. I can proudly say I have seen maybe 3 Simpson's episodes ever, and not one of the made me laugh.

Yeah Repro. With your dry humor I am suprised you dont like Simpsons or Family Guy.

Didnt you find Little Nicky, Super Troopers, and possibly Nacho Libre funny? I guess we have different tastes in movie/tv-humor.

True that. Gotta add that to my DVD's to get list. II and III were kinda crappy. I liked the first one's darkness/seriousness with the foot clan and all that.

II & III were kiddy movies. Their violence was even toned down. Shit, even the cartoons became shitty after a few seasons, I mean they gave Michelangelo a grappling hook and took away his chucks? :wtf:

The first one was great though. They were realistic, got their asses kicked, and they kept the 'cheese' to a minimum.

I think that's why. I can see the punchline a mile away. What fun is that?

I love Little Nicky, Supertroopers and Nacho Libre because they don't try hard. I've always seen the Simpsons and Family Guy "trying too hard," and to me that's not funny.

I see you view on Family Guy trying to hard, I can't watch it after South Park ripped them a new one.

I guess it takes a long time watcher to really like it. I could never get into Seinfeld. But for some reason I love Curb Your Enthusiasm. I just started watching it and can't believe I've missed out all these years.

Thats odd. Even after that episode, I can still watch it just fine.

South Park is better than it used to be I must say...like the recent one!

Family Guy has moments where it tries too hard more than the Simpsons and its quite noticeable. Its the little details that dont belong in the episode's story that I laugh at.

I didn't like Curb Your Enthusiasm at all until I found out it was all improv, now I think it's one of the best shows ever.

I think what I like the least about Family Guy are the voice actors. The punchlines just sound so damn cheesy I can't stand it.

After south park made fun of the "lets insert some random past happening" every ten seconds in Family Guy, I just can't watch it without feeling the main story as stupid and unoriginal

I don't watch Family Guy either. I've probably only seen about 3 or 4 episodes. I'm not sure what about it turns me off. There are some pretty funny parts though.

Hmm. Thats what I love about it.

This reminds me of the time I forgot how to sit down.
This is almost as bad as when you tried to cover your farts up by coughing.
Oh no, I remember what happened to Pac Man when he and Ms. Pac Man split up.

Not only those, but the random shit that comes out of no where.

Stewie running to the pool b4 Peter and next thing you know, its a perfect cartoon of Ferris Bueller's day off.
And who can forget the Rocky IV parody?

Speaking of random shit, who couldnt like the ridiculous battles with the rooster?

Simpsons does this sort of stuff too, but its mostly from Homer. His stupidity that ends a scene is always a welcome to me!

The long fight scene in April's basement shop was wonderful. I used to rewind that over and over as a kid.
For a moment, I didnt know what the fuck you were talking about. Now I do! Yeah, the whole scene I liked actually, from her house until the basement. The part I do remember rewinding and memorizing the moves from ( :funny: ) was Raphael fighting them all off on his own on the roof.

Did you notice their masks were always different when it came time to the actors to actual do some real movement?

And did anyone else notice this shit? :kissu: :hiya: :mooh:

Ive been waiting for this asshole :mooh: to go crazy on this forum.

:roflmao: I feel the same way.

And that rooster scene was hilarious.

I like the episode when Joe ( the guy in the wheelchair ) gets depressed because he can't catch a perp.

And the gang goes to the bar, and he starts crying.
They all find some funny ass way to get away while he's going on and on.
 I loved that part.

and so much more. It's def. a funny show. But I really like random stuff.
