On a serious note, my first cousin was engaged at 17. Her fiance was paralyzed during his last football game. He was a quadriplegic. She married him anyway, and took care of him for 15 years. He dies 3 years ago. She has since been remarried and just had her first child. She doesn't even look like the same person. She looks happier, healthier, and alive.


All I can say, is that women had a heat of gold and a fortitude of steel. You could see it in her face how much she hurt and how shitty her life was taking care of a quadriplegic.

She never gained or lost weight, but her face aged twice as fast as her sister. She looked like a 50 year old in her 30's and now she looks her age.

some people are just hard wired to do what they feel is right despite incredible sacrifice. if everyone had a piece of that what kind of world would it be? i'd say her new guy n her kid are really lucky and will never be let down.

I googled my question and came up with this pretty interesting story.

Question:
I'm a quadriplegic, 24-year-old male and have never had sex. I get erections all the time but cannot relieve them myself because of my disability. They are getting longer, more frequent and painful. I know I can't say to my nurse, "Nurse, I need some help over here," but I have to do something. I don't even let them wash some parts of my body because I'm scared I¹ll have an erection and I don't think that is normal. It doesn't help that all three of the nurses who come to my house are quite attractive. Please help me.

Weight gain often occurs over a long period of time, so the changes may not be as noticeable, you know? That may make the changes seem not so "stunning".
