I had some recent labs done and everything more or less came back as expected other than being Vitamin D deficient, having a DHEA level on the low end of normal, and higher than normal IGF-1 levels. I drink a lot of milk and assumed my D levels would have been normal so that is weird for me. What is the benefit of supplementing DHEA to get it up to a higher level? Last but not least I'm a little puzzled why my IGF-1 levels are beyond the normal level. My doctors office asked me if I'm taking any peptides and I am not and have never taken any IGF-1 peptides. I took some peptide back in the day that was supposed to raise GH levels but we're talking many years ago. So anyways anyone else experience this? Is this a good thing my IGF-1 levels are high, or is that not such a great thing. Thanks!

Any thoughts on natural IGF-1 levels being over the normal range? Also really wanted to get thoughts on supplementing pros and cons for DHEA since I'd like to order some if its really something worth doing. I read higher DHEA levels means increased risk of hair loss and prostate growth. That alone is unappealing to me. So am I missing out on anything special by being at the low end of normal on DHEA?

If you are low on dhea and vtamin d then you should supplement them. Your worries on dhea are unfounded. Vit D is about the most common deficiency there is. Just take 2000ius of D3 daily.

I think I am going to supplement all of them. A friend of mine with a PHD in biochemistry said it would be a good idea to raise my DHEA levels some based on where they are now.

AAS Use naturally increases your IGF-1 Levels, also diet can play a role in its elevation. Pretty Normal IMO
