What is up everyone? I doubt you guys remember me, but I just found this forum again because of e-mail. I don't know where it went, but the other url that it used to be out didn't work anymore so I thought it died, but here it is.
If you don't remember me, I am a 15 year old guy trying to improve my strength for sports and just for overall being in good shape. I've been lifting for maybe a year and a half now, but haven't really been going much until I started football which was the beginning of the school year. Glad to be back in the community.
Now the question I have is that lately when I'm watching TV, all I seem to see are these commercials for FastAbs or like AbEnergizer etc. My question is, do these products really work? I've looked them up on the internet, and I've heard mixed reviews about them some saying they work, but they are built in low quality so they don't last long. Has anyone purchased any of these before? and if so which one and do they work?
Another question is that I want to have a "home gym" for when I am too lazy to go to the local gym after school. The only product that I have really only looked at was the Bowflex's. I have heard that these machines work only for losing weight or something like that, and does not show the results. I don't know if this is true, but if you guys could clear this up, and then help me out on what I should purchase I would appreciate it. I have a budget of around $300, and in May, I'll be 16 so I will get more money.
Once again, I'm glad to be back.
