I work for the world's largest producer of fruit and vegetables, DOLE. Whooptie f'ing doo. I hate it there. All my coworkers are getting layed off. F*@# them.

I used to work for Dole...in hawaii.I hated that job.We had to pick pineapples for 10 -12 hours a day,rain or shine,we had 1 day where we only worked half day,and thats because winds were so strong that a couple telephone poles broke.We had to bring our own toilet paper because there are no restrooms,you have to go crap in the field,even the ladies.I would go through so many leather gloves.I hated that job.

I did that in january of this year.Worse job I had,well maybe not I lived in Tonga for a couple years and did farm work for an entire year and they pay you one time,at the end of the year.I got $119.00 U.S Dollars.Thats is 4 hour days 5-6 days a week.A job while I was in school.

I work in the NASA/JSC Export Control Office. I'm the Information Technology Specialist which means I classify all software and computer items being exported to foreign nationals / countries.

An example: since the shuttle program is currently grounded, we classify per U.S. State and Commerce Export Regulations everything needing to go to Russia for launch to the International Space Station.

I'm currently working on becoming a U.S. Official Export Compliance Officer... should have it by January '05... hopefully I'll get more $$
