Police Search Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch

POSTED: 9:36 a.m. PST November 18, 2003
UPDATED: 9:52 a.m. PST November 18, 2003

LOS ANGELES -- Police swarmed Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch on Tuesday, although the purpose of the search was not immediately disclosed, a sheriff's official said.

The authorities executed a search warrant at the musician's sprawling home in the Santa Ynez Valley outside of Santa Barbara, Calif., said a sheriff's spokesman, who declined to give his name. The Santa Barbara County District Attorney's office was also involved in the action, he added.

Jackson's spokesman, Stuart Backerman, did not answer his cell phone and did not immediately return messages early Tuesday.

thanks for saying it tank....i didn't want to have albob be mad at ME. better he blame you. ;)

Wow, they just had the press conference....issuing a warrant for MJ's arrest with a $3 million dollar bail!

He must have done something wrong...they mentioned another case of child molesting...wonder if they found anything?

it sounds like some 12 yr old boy is involved.MJ=sicko

Bout time they arrested this sicko!

He has not even been taken into custody and I am already sick to death hearing about this.

I hope they put him in prison...he will last about two minutes before his cornhole is as big as a mack truck.

:( It's sad ... someone so talented could turn out to be a child molester. What's really sad is that he has more money than God, and if proven guilty, he'll be able to buy his way out. Some sort of out of court settlement. I'm sure the parents are salivating at this opportunity to become rich which is just as sad.

That is probably the whole point behind this.

I concur with NT, the parents will get bought out again and he will be free to do it to the next kid he wants to.

They should probably put the parents in Jail. What parent in their right mind would leave 12 year old boy with this freak.

There was only one intention $$$

Interesting Iain ... what parent would let their child sleep with any adult - regardless of who it is!

Couldn't agree more, but I would trust some people to leave my kids with. It just wouldn't be Wacko Jacko :finger:

to leave your kids with someone is totally different than to allow them to sleep in the same bed as an adult.

i agree..i really loved Micheal Jackson's music..it's too bad his life turned out like this

Yeah dudes it's kind of heart breaking to look back at his old videos and think "He was so normal then."

MJ is a frick'n idiot! First of all didn't he learn his lesson the last time these exact same allegations were brought against him? You would think after having that happen he would be extremely careful, in other words NO KIDS SLEEPING IN YOUR BED MICHAEL!

Why did he have to get so damn weird?

First off, this is NOT about money. There has been no civil lawsuit filed, and there are no plans for one. Second MJ does NOT have more money than god. He is damn near bankrupt. He owes millions in loans, and as colatteral he put up the beatles songs(he owns them). So, Michael has no money, the parents DONT want money from him, and this is his second offence... He can easily look at 3-4 years with parole, or a maximum of 8 years. Sooo, what does this lead me to conclude...?

More evidence coming in this morning...apparantly he has been drugging kids with sleeping pills and wine.

I saw a clip this morning of him with a bunch of kids at his house. If you were a parent, would you let this freak near your children? I don't care how talented he is, it wouldn't surprise me at all if he has abused children.

PreMier ... that is indeed interesting. I find it hard to believe that he is bankrupt, but it wouldn't be the first time it's happened. Where did you find out about him being bankrupt?

Oh you didn't know NT? PM and MJ have been hanging around elementary schools for years. They are the bestest of friends.

I can't stand MJ but this smells of money to me. I heard today where MJ had just cut this family off - previously he was paying their living and medical expenses.

BTW, he has plenty of money.

My gut feeling is that this is sick ploy to get money. I could be wrong though.
