we're winning in 5 out of the 6 recalls and it's a dead heat for the 6th one so far tonight......the silent majority spoke loudly last november and we're speaking again tonight!!!

having a complete lack of knowledge in real world economics is not really something to brag about.

conservative economic policies cause contraction of wages, taxes and GDP. this will surely make for a more prosperous future in the US..go eat some more paint chips..:roflmao:

Those boisterous teacher union fucks continue to look like jackasses. One day they will realize they work for the state's taxpayers and not their union.

The teachers union is a fucking joke. They do nothing but collect your ridiculously overpriced dues and give you a Christmas party every year. Bunch of fucking paper pushing imbeciles.

I find it funny when teachers bitch about not being paid enough.

They barely work 8 months out of the year. They have the summer off. They take off every holiday--even the joke ones like MLK, and they get 2 or 3 weeks around Christmas and New Years day. They even take off a random day every few weeks.

If they worked a full year, they'd make 50% more money.

But, oh! It's so hard working with children. It ever so much harder than working with criminals, the seriously ill and terminal, fighting foreign soldiers, raging fires, irate customers, 80 hours of programming, and the like.

Sure. Right. Their job is the really hard one.

These threads kill me. I'm I at a high school football game or what?!

More hate from imbeciles.
God help these poor fools.

the really, really sad part is that those that support these far right economic policies don't know the difference between an economic liberal and a social liberal. economic liberals are FOR capitalism while neo-liberal economic polices are for socialism, for business.

Doesnt it suck Lam that your boy blow job Barry your Idol your rock star your jesus wont be in office soon. You remember the lady on you tube that said dumb ass was going to pay for her car payment her rent and doesnt have to worry about anything anymore because her messiah will take care of her well I bet she's pissed, lol

sucks for people that have children and make low wages. I started planning for the current 2011 economy 20 years ago, the writing was on the wall then.

I have not one clue what people say on tv as i watch it with the sound off. best of luck to you if you think that a new POTUS is going to change things.

DOMS, I worked almost ten years with gang members, prison inmates and skid row teens that were drug dealers and thugs right before their time in prison time went into effect. I got paid 40k for a full year. Try raising a kid on that.

Then, when an MS13 or Blood threatens your life and you're forced to defend yourself because the staff is scared shitless and you need to protect yourself, the unions are nowhere to be found except how to keep it quiet because they don't want pressure from the state because George Bush signed a retarded bill titled No Child Left Behind forcing us to graduate the ones that didnt deserve to graduate.

Clearly, there are cush jobs as teachers, and those don't deserve to whine, but in this case-I have every right to bitch, moan and whine as much as I damn well want.

This is also the reason why I left teaching and the amazing salary to open a gym and co-own a thriving sports nutrition line.

How many months a year did you work?

I find it sad that teachers NEED a union. Teacher, right behind parents, influence our children and thus our very future more than any other organized group. It's teachers, police, firefighters and the armed services that should be raking in millions upon millions of dollars. Not sports figures, t.v. and movie stars and musicians. THOSE are the people that should be living from paycheck to paycheck.

Why end the rant there, you were gaining my support. Many teachers and professors are lazy whinny assholes. All I have heard is how hard teaching is. Well I am sure that dealing with shitty kids and their shitty parents is hard, but it isn't much more fun dealing with demanding bosses, time constraints, client satisfaction, ect.

I would bust a nut if someone talk me that I could get summers off, and 2 weeks for Christmas at my job, but be paid the same.

From what I've actually seen of teachers (I volunteer at my children's schools from time to time), they weren't lazy. They just had a messed up sense of what constitutes a regular job.

Granted, I've yet to deal with teachers post-grade school level. And I've not heard good things about them.

Neither have I. I have always heard from friends who went to grad school, or are in grad school that those professors have been stuck in academia too long. There is a point where a person has been isolated from the real world for so long that they have lost the ability to gauge relevance.

This happens in all levels of education, but it seems to happen more in post graduate education.

Which state?

NJ. I've worked Newark, Rahway State Prison, Linden, a private school (trust me it isnt exclusive as you think-it's an alternative school where this is your last chance before being expelled) and my last was a school for emotionally disturbed students. All inner-city. My size hinders me in such a way, that all I was handed were the worst kids in the school. They called my class the "dungeon". I was tucked quietly away near a boiler room.

Agreed.
Most teachers don't get the credit they deserve. They certainly don't get paid what they deserve. Then again, most teachers think they know everything-similar to social workers who I believe are even bigger assholes. Parents on the other hand, in special education classes-they mostly suck. The apples don't fall far from the tree.
