Russian American specifically from that shithole called Belarus of the former USSR. My parents visited family and friends there recently, were tailed by two guys the whole time, had a tinted van parked across the street from the place they were staying starting when they got there and the van disappeared when they left. There were horse drawn buggies in the center of the city (we're from the second largest city, Gomel). Only like 2 paved roads in the whole city, a car is a blessing over there and once you get one, you have it for life. If the engine block cracks, you just weld that fucker together and keep on driving.

So bring on those dickheads talking shit about America. We should send those fuckers over there for two months and see how they like it. My parents grew up there, know the language, the people, the customs etc. That was their home, in many ways that America is not. But when they got back, the first thing my father told me was "God Bless America"

One half of my family is Welsh, the other half are originally from Ireland though have been in Wales for a few generations.

Ive read different origins of my surname, though. Some histories say its a Welsh name, others say its English. Most of us come from Wales, but there are pockets in England, Canada, America...

One of these days im gonna do the family tree.

An aunt on my fathers side did a family tree and a cousin on my mothers side did a family tree. In all I am comprised of so many varied ethnicities I am truly an American, with British, German, French, Hungarian, Spanish, Irish, African, and Native American.....my own family name traces back to the 1730's in Virginia, and my fathers-mothers maiden name were among the founding families of Bonne Terre, MO where I was born....

You should do a family tree, it is awesome to see how far you can trace some names....
