gr81 said:you need to start doing some plyometrics and things similar in nature that will stimulate fast twitch fibers in your calves and hams. High intentisty/shorter activities (i.e. sprinting) will do so. Other than that, lots of hamstring and calf work in the gym and that squat rack will do the trick

In the Junior Olympics in Orlando in 1995 I had a 39" vertical. All I ever did for "training" was practice. It's like trying to dunk a basketball. You don't do squats or train your calves if you want to be able to dunk. You practice your moves on the baseline and you jump to dunk.
