Does anyone know why this happens:
I'm the controller at an electrical contracting company and I'm working on a bunch of year-end paper crap like every year at this time. I get home after 10 hours in the office and feel beat. It's my push night, so I down some Superpump 250 and trudge downstairs feeling exhausted.

I load the bar and warm up to start benching. After warm up I usually do 3 sets of 255lbs for 4 reps and then move to dumbell and shoulder work. I complete this with ease and feel like superman even though I was dragging a short time before. I doubt the Superpump was completely responsible for my feeling of euphoria. My personal best on the bench is 310lbs. and I had no intention of maxing, but I thought what the heck. I preceded to push 265, 275, 285 and then 295 all with extreme ease. I know I could have done more, but like I said it wasn't time for me to max.

I went on to have an insane workout, shoulders and triceps along with a great pump. I certainly didn't feel 46! Does this happen often to anyone else?

"The perfect day consists of 8 hours of rest, 8 hours of work, and 8 hours of play."

My workouts are more fulfilling when I train after work. You get a sense of accomplishment

Great quote! Ben Franklin right?

I also agree that my training is better when I work that day. The best my training has ever been was when I was working 70 hours a week and smoking weed everyday, but I can't think of a clever quote for that one.

I don't know about anyone else, but when I take Superpump before a workout, I'm flying!!!! :mooh:

I too like to workout after work, but some days I cant. I have a fairly physical job sometimes. Strange, but on some occasions I have been pretty well buggered from work and I am so determined to workout that I have a great intense workout, beating PR's and the like.

But training legs, and then having to climb up and down from a ships crane 4 times a day is a killer :)

The perfect day consists of no work, 8 hours of rest and 8 hours of sex, with some drugs and alcohol thrown in along the way.....

I call those days turbo days. they happen occasionally, where you just feel invincible, nothing can stop you and work capacity goes sky high.

I've tried to figure it out with the variables:
Sleep, Food, Rest/ activity level, stimulants, etc....

And it still just appears random....

I wish it would appear more often!!!!!
