Interesting Post Injection Site Reaction

Got some reputable gear from a sponsor and it's as smooth as could be... but never had this happen before.

I have a solid routine before injection to make sure all materials are sterile and the site is clean... for some reason it's now 5 days after the first pin and my glute is a little puffed up. Pip is moderate to low could even say great for the first pin of the cycle.... second site is good but what concerns me is the way it's puffed up, it's not even on the site!? I don't get it... it's like 3 inches to the right of the pin site on the right glute. Not red or anything slightly warm but honestly the first few pins IME typically are.

Any advice is appreciated

Sounds like the oil came back out of the muscle tissue.

^^^ This. For glute 1.5 is better (IMO) unless your bf is really low.

Agreed, I just push the 1" down good. I get one at the hospital this week in the glute, 1" 25 gauge said it was plenty.

I typically put some pretty serious pressure on the plunger after it appears all the oils is out just to be sure... I would like your opinion on pics of it... I'm not a beautiful guy heads up so view at your own risk....

after i remove the needle from injection site, i will hold pressure on the injection site for atleast one minute. Then I will spend another minute kinda massaging it in. (make sure your hands are CLEAN)

take your time injecting the product into the muscle. do not get in a hurry bro.

I'll grab the alcohol swab and use that to apply pressure.

I had the same thing happen to me,when i forced the oil in rather than pushing it in slowly..try slowing down ur injection,and also swap over to 1.5in rather than 1"...

Infection would be quite red and very warm and PAINFUL. I've had a couple non-gear related staph infections and trust me, you will know if you get one.

Its possible...the 1 time i rushed the injection and tried forcing it in...it swole up just like that...it was very sensitive to the touch for nearly 2 days..i just fought it out and it was fine 2 days later....hope u get better man...

Thanks man the original site has dropped down through the use of heat pad. Unfortunately the second site is doing the same thing as I also rushed that Pin. That's what I get for being brutal with the injections and doing squats right after....

Pin length has no bearing whatsoever, 1" is plenty. I even use slin pins in glutes, which is actually 1/2", and had no problems at all. I will use slin pins if the gear is smooth enough, which recently is always the case. I just heat the oil up and it's gtg.

i've had delt shots "travel" down my arm a few inches (with prop) and swelled the fuck out of my whole arm down my tricep. It went away and 5 - 7 days... Only explanation I could come up with was that it somehow leaked sub - q; I don't think you need to worry, keep an eye out for a fever or flu like symptoms.

Yea man I think you're on the money! Second site swelled a decent bit more, but it literally looks like the affect of pinning and doing heavy squats 20mins after. Like the oil was pushed back out the muscle to sub.
