So there's a big price difference between Hydrolyzed whey and isolates, but would one really notice a difference in body composition say over a year taking a hydro whey like Hydrobolic FX, as opposed to an isolate like Isopure?

Hydrolyzed Isolate whey protein is the only money you should spend on protein. the peptide is broken down to it's purist form--meaning it's almost broken down to water form--for fast absorption. Really good to take post workout- before you go to carbs or glycogen, you should consume protein first and not carbs post training, when your IGF-1 levels are at their highest-- so hydrolyzed peptides are the best route to go before you uptake carbs.

Alright not what I was expecting to hear, but I am looking for excuses to blow 70$ on 5lbs of powder, since I'm the guy who buys 7.5lb tubs of isopure for 100.

If its really that much superior ill buy it. Maybe I'll use that strictly for PWO and ill use an isolate during the day to help meet my protein minimum.

It's the only whey that doesn't have fillers, sugars. concentrate etc.. It's micronized so it absorbs fast and you don't have to wait 40 minutes for the protein to work in the muscle and run the risk of going catabolic where your body is going to use muscle for fuel. I would suggest maybe Dymatize ISO 100. don't waste your money on other types of whey unless you need an extended release protein, then I'd go with casein at night before bed..

Avoid any protein products that sell you WPC - it's a cheap filler, and higher in cholesterol, sugars and other nasty shit
