is it mandatory to run a propionate version with another propionate version gear?

So when I run a Masteron (Propionate) I should be running Test (Propianate) or can it be Enanthate if I like?

It can be either but you need to keep dosing for each different type of ester on point. Most match esters for ease of dosing but its your call.
