Is it possible to fall in love after its over?

Just thinking today about this. Do any of you think its possible to fall in love or FINALLY love someone you were once with? For instance, lets say you fuck up and cheat, lie, or do something that pisses your partner off enough to end the relationship. Then youre alone, thinking about the mistakes you made. Then possibly you date someone else, but it doesnt work out cuz you are thinking of the "ex." At this point, is it possible to love that person?

On a personal level, I have lost someone here and there and after they are gone, sometimes, I value them more than I did before. I thought about it and wondered if it was just cuz I wanted something I couldnt have..but then again... Would pride cause one to think about someone all the time, prevents them from eating, prevents sleep, possible begging, possible tears, possible "promises," etc? Maybe. But at that point, it would sound more like someone got their heart broken to me...

Just some thoughts..

Sure it's possible but move on... Learn from it and apply it now. Don't make the same foolish mistakes with the next person. Never take what you do have for granted...

if u think about it the seven deadly sins all have the power to destroy us and pride is one of them. when i was in college i had a mentor who told me things that always turned out later to be proven true. like the one with the power in a relationship is always the one with the least to lose and that it is much easier to lose someone when there is not another woman (or man if u are a guy) involved. pride can make you cling to someone you don't really even want. i think you are asking some clever questions but only you can know what is truly in your heart. if it is pride let him go.
