What supplements are you taking other than protein? If your not taking anything else you might want to try things like creatine and glutamine. It might also be good to do a cycle or two or prohormones before you do a steroid cycle. How long have you been lifting also, you want to wait a few years at least and get to your maximum genetic potential naturally before you add steroids.Originally posted by Pumping Iron
I'm kinda new to this forum thing, i've poster a few times, and i thank everyone for their input.
Onto the point..I'm a 6'1", 205lb, 22 year old bodybuilder. I eat 6-8 meals per day, including 2 protien shakes. I have pretty good size and muscularity, but I am trying to put on more mass, and I can't possibly consumer more, my metabolism is just too fast.
My question is..are steroids the answer? I spoke with an about 55 year old bodybuilder from my old gym who still had decent muscularity and some size. He told me he used to lift in the golden years of gold's gym in cali with arnold, franco etc. and was even robby robinson's training partner. i asked him about roids, and he said he never touched them...
BUT, he said he has been lifting his entire life, and he said guys he's lifted with have put on more mass from one 2-3 month cycle than from 15 years of consistent training, eating and sleeping!
Please help! I need your input! Thanks...

You will never reach genetic potential......as long as you lift hard and have a good diet, you can always get bigger.
All im saying is that obviously not everyone has the genetic potential to be a drug free champion bodybuilder, most champion bodybuilders don't even have that! But I think he should see that most people can get reasonably big and strong, at least more than average, if they try hard for a long time. And If he does lift for years and makes very significant gains and then wants to take steroids then thats fine because his body will probably respond better to them then and he will hopefully have the training experience and knowledge to not be stupid with them.Originally posted by dg806

Ok........so how do you know when you reach max?
I might would agree that when you hit 70+, you might quit growing?? But I see guys in my gym almost 60 that are huge and natural. Still lifting more than me.

Frankly though, I'd rather not advertise openly how many times I masturbate, fantasize about hot nekkid womens dancing in my apartment, or things that I stick in my body that would make me a felon.
Now I just have to find where I put my cape and Batman underoos.
lol, just the way you said that reminded me of some people here. I suppose you won't be participating in pitboss' little contest in the open chat will you?Originally posted by Mudge
