i'm 24, 5'10'' and weigh 154lbs, been doing training for about a year, my goals are big size increases with strength gains?

this is what i was thinking:
bb squat = 1 set 6-10
deadlift = 1 set 6-10
db pullover = 1 set 6-10
military press = 1 set 6-10
bb row = 1 set 6-10
bench press = 1 set 6-10
db fly's = 1 set 6-10
bb curls = 1 set 6-10
french press = 1 set 6-10
standing calf raises = 1 set 6-10
weighted ab crunches = 1 set 6-10

performed 3 times a week on non-consecutive days, each set to failure and after each set where applicable an extreme fascial stretch

Way too much volume and frequency in my opinion. If you're training as intensely as you need to on a HIT program you'll need to drastically cut down on the number of sets you're doing, and spread out your training sessions a bit more.

Who's version of hit are you basing this on? Mentzer, Jones, Little?

How have you come to the decision that HIT is the way to go for you?

Gaz, what do you mean cut down on sets? He's posted that he's only doing one set of each movement?

I mean cut down on the number of sets in that session. Probably take it down to about 8 or something, especially if you're a beginner.

What is your experience level in training?

I saw in your other thread that you want a workout that can fit into 45 minutes - that doesn't have to be HIT, could be anything if thats the main reason for this.

well, i'm naturally ectomorphic and from what ive read intense short workouts with heavy weights are best for my bodytype?
