Its amazing how much it is mental and not just physical. Must focus on the muscles.

I am starting to learn about this science and art they call "Bodybuilding". Its taken me this long to realize how important it is to take a deep breath, close your eyes, and then focus in on the muscle you are doing your best to work. For example curls. If you do them too fast and do not have your head in the game you are just wasting your time. You must really focus in on the muscle being worked and squeeze it, make sure its contracting like a python killing its prey.

Also make sure to go down nice and slow. The slower the better.

Also when you do crunches its very important to keep the abs tight so you feel a real nice burn.
 
Its ALL mental brother .... If surprises me how many people waste years in the gym pushing heavy weights and wonder why they are not growing . ALL MENTAL IN MY OPINION
 
It's is a mental game. I'm personally amazed that i still seem to self teach myself something everyweek
 
Definitely if you can't get your mind deep in the muscle you are spinning your wheels
