Pretty bad ass. The determination and perseverance that guys like him have is unreal. It's one thing to run marathons or compete in triathlons, but to be able to work as hard as they do for weeks at a time, sleeping on a pad in the snow, all while facing death for one misstep is a true test of strength.

I should have said this would "peak" his interest :wits:

lmao :D

This.

Get tired during a marathon? You can just stop and have friends pick you up. Not so easy on the side of a mountain, I suspect.

What if you happen to be a top notch snow boarder or skier? Wouldn't that be a trip...bust your butt to get to the top, then have one hell of a ride back down.

I actually took up skiing just for this reason. I got tired of watching skiers ski down the mountain in 30 minutes while I take 6-8 hours to climb down. I'm still not good enough after 3 years though.

Psh! A woman did it without oxygen assist!
