nor is there any data that supports it...the employment problem in the US started in the 70's before the illegals started to come. and the jobs that they take are all low wage, the main problem with the US economy right now. far to many low wage jobs and not enough high paying jobs for the working class.
one of my friends is the manager of a Levi's store here in Vegas, it's the most profitable store that Levi's has in the world in terms of sales. there are over 250 employees that work there on different shifts, in the warehouse, etc. out of all of them him and maybe a hand full of others that are shift managers make decent wages, the rest are all earning 1980's wages once adjusted for inflation. it is the same model followed and used by all in the low wage service sector and has always been the basis for capitalism. low wages for the workers so the profits flow up to the top.
