jumprope question..

ok one question i have about jump rope is what does it focus on?? is it more cardio? becouse when i do it for long periods of time, i feel burning in my forearms. and how long should i do it for?

i was about to post a thread on jumping rope because i needed some form of cardio to do on my rest days (other than running and HIIT bc i HATE running) but yea just do it until you can go it anymore, that's what i do anyways! :)
 
do intervals with it.

fast as you can for 60seconds front. slight rest. 60seconds as hard as you can reverse.
repeat until played out. Enjoy :)
